My Spring Is Here!
Now that the gloomy start to 2019 has passed, I’m excited for what Spring is bringing into my life. New places, new experiences, and new connections are finding their way into my orbit and I am eager to bask in it all. I’ve spring-cleaned my closet, my address book, and my room, and it’s time to add some stationary pieces to celebrate. Thankfully with Walmart’s awesome policy of free 2-day shipping and returns for most purchases over $35, I was able to spruce up my wardrobe with some cute pieces just in time to hail the new season with open arms. If you know me well enough, I love florals, a pop of color, and anything denim. So it was an added bonus being able to shop the We Dress America line at Walmart. The We Dress America line represents a diverse range of real people from across the country, expressing their personal style.
The Belted Midi Shirt Dress
Let’s start with my favorite; THE DRESS! Everyone needs to own a denim dress, especially one you can add or remove the belt as you like right before heading out for brunch with your friends/family. With Time and Tru’s Women's Belted Midi Shirt Dress, you can add floral heels, and accented earrings with a touch of sweet-smelling perfume and just walk out of the door. I love how it fits perfectly on my athletic shape without exposing too much or too little. It’s comfortable enough to spruce up with a pair of sneakers/loafers to rock out in the streets if you’re not the heels-type. Did I mention they come with POCKETS!?! Exactly! What’s a Midi Shirt Dress without pockets? And if you’ve never owned a dress with pockets, that’s a disservice to self-love and satisfaction.

I know, I know! How cliche! Florals for Spring? Who would’ve thought? (Insert sarcasm) Haha! No, seriously… let’s get into this look for a quick second. First, this Time and Tru Kimono in Blue Cove Floral just gives me joy. It’s light for the Spring weather and adds a pop of sass to your outfit. And these types of denim? Baby, they stretch and fit every inch of my curves like they were made for me! I’m sorry. I forgot to mention, that this Core Skinny Jean is also from the Time and Tru collection at Walmart. Combine the two with a simple tee, bold heels, and a beautiful smile and you're guaranteed you’ll be turning heads on date night.
