August Thoughts

LET’S HAVE A #CupOfHonestTea - Every year since the passing of my Dad, August has become an interesting month. A lot happens. I anxiously prepare every year because I have no idea what will land on my metaphorical steps each time.

However, this year was different. Instead of anxiously waiting for the unexpected, I decided to embrace the unknown and remain open to any opportunity or blessings the universe would bring me. Ironically, with this new perspective, this year's birthday was the best in a very long time.
From being loved on by old friends, my tribe, and new connections to eating new foods and sitting still smelling the flowers handed to me at midnight. With this new energy flowing, I can't help but think of my idea of comfort and flexibility. Thankfully, @eddiebauer is helping me transition my style into being a bit more stylish while wearing efficient and transitional pieces.
